Raspberry Chai Tea Latte
Fruity, comforting, and delicious - there's nothing better!
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 black tea bag
- 1 tsp raspberry syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Heat the water.
While the water is heating, combine the spices. As you will only use 1/2 teaspoon of the mixed spices per cup of chai, store the remainder in an airtight container for up to several months.
Combine 1/2 teaspoon of the spices mix and the raspberry syrup in a mug. Add the tea bag and pour approximately 1/2 cup of hot water over the mixture.
While the tea is steeping, add the milk and vanilla extract to a milk frother. You can also use a blender or handheld milk frother to get the milk to your desired consistency.
Remove the tea bag after 3-5 minutes of steeping. If you don't want the spices at the bottom of your cup, pour the mixture over a strainer and into a second mug.
Pour the frothed milk over the spiced tea, top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and enjoy!
