Golden Milk Latte (Turmeric Latte)
A tantalizing blend of nourishing spices, milk, and caramel flavoring.

- 1 tbsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cardamom
- pinch lemon pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp caramel extract
Combine the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom in a small bowl.
Combine 1/2 teaspoon of the spice mix and the remainder of the ingredients in a small saucepan. Store the remainder of the spice mix in an airtight container for future use.
Heat the ingredients over medium heat until slightly warmer than your preferred drinking temperature.
If you don't want a "spice sludge" at the bottom of your cup, I highly recommend straining the mixture through a strainer with multiple layers of cheesecloth. Strain twice to remove the spices.
Optional: Run the liquid through the blender (or a milk frother) for 1-2 minutes to give the drink extra body. Pour into your favorite mug, top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and enjoy!
